The House of Education and Innovation (HEI) Association, the “Teodor T. Burada” Cultural Centre of Constanta County and the Ovidius University of Constanta organized on April 3rd a trip to the “Fântânița” Nature Reserve, attended by students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agricultural Sciences (specializing in Agriculture, Horticulture and Ecology) and the Faculty of Letters (specializing in American Studies).
The activity was organized by Dr. Andreea Cosma, associate professor of the Faculty of Letters and president of the HEI Association, in collaboration with the assistant professor Dr. Ing. Ciprian Stroe, Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, Alexandra Topală, co-founder of HEI Association and Eden Feizula, collaborator of the Cultural Centre of Constanta County “Teodor T. Burada”, through the Erasmus+ project Education for Sustainable Consumption.
Prof. Dr. Marius Skolka, Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Daciana Sava and Dr. Eng. Memedemin Daniyar took part in the documentation visit to identify rare and specific plants of Dobrogea. Thanks to the good weather, the vernal plants enchanted us with their beauty and special colours, which the students captured in photos and videos that will be included in the new virtual herbarium. It will include both scientific descriptions and legends and myths about local plants.
