On Friday, April 5 2024, the Syndicat mixte des gorges du Gardon, with the help of environmental educators, a botanist, and the Maison de l’Europe de Nîmes, organized a workshop on creating herbarium sheets, identifying, and scientifically describing plants. A sophomore class from Dhuoda High School in Nîmes participated in this workshop. Participants learned how to herbarium the plants they had collected in the field during the site visit on March 25, 2024.
