On October 11, 2024, the Gardon Gorges Mixed Union, with the help of an environmental educator who participated in the project’s training, took a ninth-grade ULIS class from the Collège de la Paillade in Montpellier. Around fifteen 16-year-old students discovered the natural heritage of a park near Montpellier during an educational outing. Loïc, a skilled teacher, presented the characteristics of the natural garrigue environments while introducing the different plant species. Various techniques for approaching nature were tested with the students, including magic. The students and their English teacher left delighted by this outing, which allowed them to learn a little more about the mysteries of nature and how to better protect it.
